We are so excited to announce that 4K exports are here! This makes a huge difference on YouTube and larger screens.
Start by upscaling your scenes using the new Upscaler:
Select the scenes to convert (to export to 4K, all scenes need to be upscaled, but you can try upscale a few if you want to test it or download individual 4K clips/images):
This process adds extra detail to each scene, effectively increasing the resolution of your video.
Once upscaled, the editor will automatically use the 4K versions of your scenes during playback. If playback feels choppy, press the 4K button to switch back to lower-resolution previews:
Or if you are on mobile:
Finally, when exporting, set “Resolution” to 4K:
NOTES:
Upscaling to 4K costs 10 credits per image or per second of video
Exporting has no cost, so you only need to upscale once and can export as many times as you want
4K upscaling and exporting are premium features and require a Pro or Ultra subscription
☃️Feature: Preset Characters
With the winter holidays here, we thought it would be great to add a set of pre-created, commonly used characters.
We created 39 “Winter Holiday” characters that you can use completely free. We’ll add more in the future.
To use a preset character, on the Cast tab, press “Add Character”:
Open the gallery:
Select “Preset Characters” at the top:
Then chose the character you want:
The characters will match the style of your video:
If you want to customize the character, you can tweak the prompt and regenerate, or even better, edit the image with AI:
NOTE: Preset characters are available to all users at no cost.
📊 Feature: Credit Usage Chart
We’ve added a chart so you can easily see your credit usage by day.
