How to import videos into Premiere, Resolve, and Final Cut

Export

Download the Project files

  1. Click the “Export” button in the top right corner of the video

  1. Select “Project” and click “Export”

  1. Download and extract the downloaded ZIP file

Download the Fonts

  1. Click the “Export” button in the top right corner of the video

  1. Select “Font” and click on every font you want to download

Import

Import to Adobe Premiere

  1. Open a new project in Adobe Premiere
  1. Click File > Import
  1. Browse to the *.xml file inside the extracted folder
  1. Click Open
  1. Locate the sequence in the media list and drag & drop it to the timeline

Import to Davinci Resolve

  1. Open a new project in Davinci Resolve
  1. Right click the timeline
  1. Select Timelines > Import > AAF / EDF / XML...
  1. Browse to the *.fcpmxl file inside the extracted folder
  1. Click Open
  1. If you get a prompt about not found clips, click “Yes” and relink them selecting the folder were you extracted the ZIP file

Import to Final Cut Pro

  1. Find and double-click the *.fcpmxl file inside the extracted folder
  1. follow the prompts in Final Cut Pro.
